Nutrition
Good general nutrition is essential to maintaining a healthy, youthful appearance. And the key good general nutrition is balance. Proteins should make up roughly ten percent of your daily calorie intake; no calories should come mostly from complex carbohydrates. The average diet, however, contains too many fats and sweets and not enough fruits and vegetables. The fat in fried foods, whole-milk dairy products, cakes, curries and red meat is one of the biggest culprits. Nutrition experts advise us, above all, to cut back on fats and to use salt and sugar in moderation.
